Used Freightliner Auto Parts

Freightliner Trucks is a maker of American trucks. Founded in 1929 as the consolidated freightways' truck manufacturing subsidiary (from which its name derives), the company was founded as the Freightliner Corporation in 1942. Freightliner is a division of Daimler Trucks North America (with Western Star, Detroit Diesel, and Thomas Built B) owned by Daimler AG since 1981.

Freightliner manufactures a number of trailers, medium trucks and heavy-duty trucks; the company manufactures bare chassis and cutaneous chassis for various models of vehicles under its subsidiary Freightliner Custom Chassis. The company popularised the use of cabover (COE) semi-tractors and later became the ultimate example of the North American type. The corporation is based in Portland, Oregon and is now manufacturing vehicles in Cleveland and Mount Holly, North Carolina and Santiago Tianguistenco.

Leland James, the founder of the group, has developed an enterprise division for semi-tractors for company use following the establishment in Portland, Oregon, of the CF. The Freightways Manufacturing plant has designed Fagol vehicles to serve the cab above the front axle as a starting point in a CF maintenance plant. The new freightways truck required CF to use a longer trailer shorter in length and to continue to comply with the strict length of time rules.

Freightways Manufacturing started branding the manufacture of trucks under the name "Freightliner" in the 1930s in accordance with its corporate name. The trucks were reduced in weight to increase the use of engine strength in addition to their shorter length (needed to climb mountain grades in the western United States). In 2013, Freightliner extended its alternative fuel product range to include the Cascadia natural gas variant. The Cascadia Evolution was introduced for Luxury Cascadia as well as enhanced aerodynamics and fuel economy and interior characteristics (distinguished by its complete rear wheel covering). In addition, Coronado was renamed the 122SD to the SD models.

The 3 millionth Daimler Truck North America, a Cascadia Evolution 2014, was installed on the site in Cleveland on 22 August 2014. Freightliner hired at the time 2600 people and in North Carolina 8000 employees. Freightliner Inspiration was presented in the vicinity of Hoover Dam in May 2015. The inspiration was a loose Cascadia-based first road approved autonomous semi truck. The autonomous driving system in Level 3 was equated with the airline's autopilot system (requiring operator presence).

Freightliner has launched Cascadia, a second generation, for 2017 development, with concept features taken from the autonomous vehicle Inspiration. The EconicSD law entrance COE was debuted in 2018 by Freightliner. The model line, which is mostly designed for refuse uses, is a Mercedes-Benz Econic adaptation. In September 2019, Daimler's parent company declared that its plans to embrace electric cars should stop its internal combustion engine production initiatives.
